Operation Trishul



It has been one of the operations under the The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).


In the past one year, the body has extradited 33 fugitives involved in various criminal activities under this operation.


Trishul - CBI uses a three-pronged strategy to nab fugitives.


Fugitive Economic Offenders Act (FEOA) became a law on July 31, 2018.


Lack of Domestic Tracking System remains one of the major problems in these kinds of operations.
