Operation Sadbhavana



The Indian Army is undertaking multiple welfare activities in remote areas of Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh under the project of Operation Sadbhavana.


It is undertaken by the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to address the aspirations of people affected by terrorism, sponsored by Pakistan.


Under this project, the army has been undertaking multiple welfare activities- Army Goodwill schools, Infrastructure Development Projects and Education Tours, etc.


So far, the objectives achieved through this project include- National integration tours, women empowerment, employment generation, education, etc.
