The Tamil Nadu government filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court disallowing the construction of the Indian Neutrino Observatory in Theni district, at the Bodi West Hills site.
TamilNadu has requested the Supreme court that it does not want the INO to be built in ecological zone in the western ghats, at the cost of wildlife and bio diversity.
