Nano-DAP



Recently, the Central government has notified nano-Di Ammonia Phosphate (DAP) in the  fertilization control order.


This allows its commercial release for the farmers.


It's a type of fertilizer that contains both Nitrogen and Phosphorus. 


It is jointly manufactured by IFFCO and a private player Coromandel. 


It is better absorbed by the plant roots, due to the small size of its particles.


It has high nutrient efficiency and is expected to improve crop quality.
