ISRO’s SSLV-D2
ISRO successfully launched the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle from Sriharikota.
SSLV-D2 dropped EOS-07 (ISRO), Azzadi SAT-2 (SpaceKidz India) and Janus-1 (USA) satellites respectively.
They were dropped within 15 minutes of the launch at an altitude of 450 km from the Earth.
SSLV-D2 is one of the low cost space crafts of ISRO with a payload capacity of 500kg.
