India's First mega-scale Maleic Anhydride plant



  • State-owned Indian Oil Corp (IOC) will setting up India's first mega-scale Maleic Anhydride plant 
     
  • To manufacture value added chemical products at Panipat
     
  • Proposed to have a capacity of 120,000 tonnes of Maleic Anhydride(MAH) per annum
     
  • Used to make speciality products like polyster resins and surface coatings plasticisers, agrochemicals and lubricant additives
