They are obtained by extraction of hydrogen by means of an electrolysis process.
This hydrogen is then combined with carbon dioxide to form methanol which is further into gasoline.
It is a emerging class of fuel which can be used in any cars
They are carbon neutral fuels also known as synthetic fuels.
These include problems of storage and transportation.
Other e-fuels include e-diesel and e-gasoline.
