Amrit Bharat Station Scheme



Southern railways has decided to upgrade 60 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.


The scheme aims to modernize railway stations across India.


The facilities planned include- provision of Roof Plaza, free Wi-Fi, with 5G connectivity, etc


The scheme aims to focus on internet connectivity, multi-design furniture, inclusivity, platforms, sustainability and enhancing the user experience.
