Adenovirus



Adenovirus is a double-stranded DNA virus.


They are common pathogens of humans and animals.


They can cause a wide range of illnesses from common cold to gastrointestinal infections, especially targeting the respiratory tract. 


Cough, cold, fever, pneumonia, diarrhea are the common symptoms.


They can be transmitted through coughing, sneezing, physical contact or through contaminated water.
